The first model of this type was presented as early as 1988 at the WIRE trade fair in Düsseldorf and was a great success. Continued intensive research and development efforts have led to increasingly technologically advanced models. To date, more than 250 machines equipped with welding modules have been delivered.

These machines attract interest from companies in the automotive, construction, household appliance, and agricultural sectors.

Due to individual requirements, modules offering various welding technologies can be integrated, such as TIG, plasma, micro plasma, and, more recently, laser welding.
