Machines for bending and welding wire circuits
Machines for bending and welding wire circuits – Machines for forming sheet metal Polteknik
Machines for the production of wire circuits with automatic welding function are known for their quality and performance. It is possible to realize wire circles with a diameter of 1 – 12 mm. Range of realized diameter of 15 -2200 mm. A special positioning system supports the production of large diameters.
Machinery used in the automotive industry.
All machines of this series allow the joining of workpieces by welding techniques. OMAS has long offered the installation of a welding module in its machines to enable a comprehensive production of circular parts.

Machines for bending and welding wire circuits – information:
The first model of this type was presented as early as 1988 at the WIRE trade fair in Düsseldorf and was a great success. Continued intensive research and development efforts have led to increasingly technologically advanced models. To date, more than 250 machines equipped with welding modules have been delivered. |
These machines attract interest from companies in the automotive, construction, household appliance, and agricultural sectors. |
Due to individual requirements, modules offering various welding technologies can be integrated, such as TIG, plasma, micro plasma, and, more recently, laser welding. |
Twelve different models have been grouped into the following two series: FSA and MEA. |

FAQ
What are the advantages of automatic Machines for bending and welding wire circuits?
● Machines for bending and welding wire circuits processes significantly boosts production efficiency and enables consistent, high-quality components. Automatic machines eliminate human error, reduce cycle times, and allow quick adjustments for different wire diameters without lengthy retooling. They also ensure clean, durable joints—essential for both industrial and decorative applications.
What machines are used for wire ring bending and welding?
● Wire ring bending is performed using automatic CNC wire bending machines, which provide high precision and repeatability. Welding is carried out with automatic resistance welders that allow for fast and strong joining of wire ends. Many modern machines integrate both bending and welding into a single production line, greatly increasing efficiency and reducing cycle time.
What materials can be bent and welded into rings?
● Most commonly, steel wires (black, galvanized, stainless), aluminum, copper, and other non-ferrous metals are used. Bending and welding parameters are adjusted depending on the material to ensure durability and high quality of the final product. Modern machines can also process coated or lacquered wires while minimizing surface damage.
What is wire ring bending and welding?
● Wire ring bending involves precisely shaping wire into closed forms such as rings, hoops, or frames. Ring welding is the process of joining the wire ends into a single, continuous piece—typically using resistance welding, which ensures a durable and clean joint without the need for additional materials. Both processes are commonly used in the manufacturing of metal components for industry, automotive, construction, and interior design applications.
In which industries are wire rings used?
● Wire rings are widely used in the furniture industry (e.g. seat and backrest frames), gardening (e.g. flower supports), automotive (mounting elements), construction (reinforcements, connectors), and in the production of baskets, stands, and retail display fixtures. Bending and welding rings allow for fast, precise production of components—crucial in high-volume manufacturing.
