On modern XXL-Center machines, the program is created automatically after drawing the workpiece on the touch screen using some suggested bending strategies. The operator selects the correct bending sequence, checks the 2D or 3D bending simulation and starts the program. The operator places the sheet on the loading table, which drives out of the machine and picks up the finished part at the end of the program. The machine automatically inserts the sheet into the bending line and positions it, then it bends the workpiece up and down without turning it! The unique movement of the tools makes it possible to bend coated materials without damaging their surface.
